I got these small gift in a wedding dinner 2 months ago. First time saw each honored guest bring back a bear at such occasion.

My ex-colleague went Hong Kong last year. He bought a jumping cat toy as present for me. It is small yet pricey at around $50-$75 HK dollars.

It will shake head up and down when jumping. Pretty small fun toy. It is now posing in front my house LCD screen, under the table lamp.

See? It is smiling feel comfortable and confident look in the photo.

Pet lover would love to take nice photo for their dog, cat, tortoise, etc. Me too like to take photo for my daughter (dog) and son (cat) even is not easy.

Who ever tried before should know it is really not easy to take a nice photo for our pet. Pet is active, always move around. Unlike human, they won’t listen to photographer’s command to show pose.

4 Pet Photography Tips

You still can take good shot with 4 tricks below:

1. Use Natural Light - Avoid flash because it can frighten the pet. If not possible to go outside, open window to direct sunlight in.
   
2. Keep Eye Sharp – Sharp eye is important in any portrait photography. Remember the words, “Eyes are the Window to the soul”. Eye can speak better than the whole picture.
3. Into Their View – Express your imagination. Show reader what your pet see? Always shoot from his eye level or below.
4. Assistant Help – Sometime we need an assistant to hold the pet to some position. It help to make the photography session go smoothly and faster.

We will miss lot of things in our life if we didn’t look carefully! Especially nature art. So open your eyes and see all around us.

This is a grandma and grandpa decoration toy. Took the photo with sepia effect give a feeling return back to old time.

It can be an aim for me and wife to love each other, stay together till old age and die. But it first remind me about my grandma passed away 6 months ago, and grandpa leave us even longer 11 years ago.

Time flies too fast, if you don’t catch it. Cherish our family members before its too late!
